Friday Night Ride

Friday Night Ride by paulmnbw at Garmin Connect - Details

Even warmer today, 90 degree's, is it really still springtime? I saw quite a few walkers and bicycle riders out there. Usually on a Friday evening, you don't see many people out there getting exercise.

Thursday Night Ride

Thursday Night Ride by paulmnbw at Garmin Connect - Details

It's been eleven days since I rode, what a load I am. Now it's time to get in gear and start riding seriously. The good weathers here, no more excuses.
Onto another subject, John had his knee replacement redone yesterday after two years of putting up with a botched surgery. We're all keeping our fingers crossed that this procedure works and that John will soon be back on his bike.

NBW BikeWorks Ride

NBW BikeWorks Ride by paulmnbw at Garmin Connect - Details

It was a beautiful day for a ride, although it did get pretty windy during the last two hours of the ride. I finally met a fellow Blogger that I follow and we rode together for a while. I think John ended up doing one of the shorter loops. I too, cut off about 8 miles of the 50 mile loop and ended up with a little over 41 miles.

Wow, 81 degree's today, feels like summer time. I pushed myself today, riding in the big ring for most of the ride. My legs really felt it. No pain, no gain.

It was only 58 degree's today, along with the clouds and wind, it seemed colder.  Still no excuse to not get on the bike.

Friday Night Ride

Friday Night Ride by paulmnbw at Garmin Connect - Details

The 76 degree temp. caught me by surprise. All I had to ride in, were my knickers and long sleeve jersey. Needless to say, I was a little warm at times. My legs felt way better, compared to Tuesday's ride, which made me happy. I'm hoping the rain clears out Sunday morning early enough, so I can get a ride in before Barbara and I go out for mothers day.

Man was I sore from Sundays Metric. My legs were screaming for the first five miles, then they felt a lot better. My first ride after a long one, is always like that.

NBW South Shore Metric

NBW South Shore Metric by paulmnbw at Garmin Connect - Details

Well as usual, I bit off more than I should have and ended up cutting almost four miles of the route. So I didn't end up with a metric, but the way I felt, I'll take the almost 59 miles, for the day. The bridge in the photo was closed to cars, so it was nice crossing it, without them. On the 62, 75 mile rides, these are most of the best views. The longer rides go this way too, but the shorter ones miss them.
