Thursday Night Ride

It's been almost two weeks since my last ride, never a good thing. Only three of us showed up for the ride, now that it's getting colder out, people are bailing.

We decided to turn around at the 10 mile mark, giving us 20 miles for the ride, instead of the 28 we usually do on this path. Hey, at least we came out and rode!

Tuesday Night Ride

It was nice to get a short ride in today, it's been a while since I only did 10 miles.Just an easy spin, enjoying the scenery.

This is one of the local turkey farms, that will be jammed tomorrow with people picking up their bird for Thanksgiving.

Marconi Beach Ride

I always look forward to driving down to the Cape, to visit my son Thomas. It usually means I get a nice bike ride in, in the morning, then I head to Tom's house for football, beer and pizza.

Sunday morning, I started on the bike path in Dennis and headed out to Marconi Beach in Wellfleet. It's a national park and it's right on the bike path. It was also the longest distance I've ever rode on a bike path, 43 miles, round trip.

As you can see in the pictures, the views were fantastic. I can just imagine how crowded it gets here in the warmer weather. Today there were only a few of us, enjoying the sites.

I only took pictures on the return leg of the bike path, this section, I've never been on before.

There are two other State parks on this path, the perfect solution for a path with a destination. Not just a path leading to nowhere.

NBW TriState Tour

John and I had a chance to ride together today, so it was a no brainer. We decided to do the clubs ride that takes place tomorrow. There are a few hills on this ride and this first picture is John cresting the first one.

He he is coming down a nice down hill.

We rode by this huge Llama farm and quite a few of them were getting fresh, it was a huge Llama orgy.

Our last rest stop, came equipped with seating and sun, to warm us up.

Thursday Night Ride

As you can see by the thermometer in my car, last nights ride was on the cold side. It was 32 degree's when we finished 11/2 hours later. I bonked big time on the ride,so I turned around and headed back to the start. I chopped off a few miles doing that, my legs just weren't right.

I took these two pictures, with and without the flash, so you can see how bright my lights are.

NBW Taunton/Sharon Ride

I rode the club ride today, so I wouldn't miss any of the Patriots game tomorrow. I started from Barbara's house, so that ended up adding 10 more miles to the ride.

Yes, that's left over snow, from the storm the other night. I guess they got more up here in Sharon, because all the snow melted the next day back home.

This was my first rest stop at mile 24.
